Recently, in mushroom base of Lvtong Company, workers have been busy picking and airing Pleurotus citrinopileatus.

“We daily produce at least 75 kg of fresh mushrooms, after appearing on market with the price of 20 CNY per kg, they are quite favored by customers for attractive appearance and tasty flavor,” said principal of the company, adding that they regard wood branches and corncobs as the raw materials for Pleurotus citrinopileatus cultivation, after a series of links such as sterile disposal, inoculation and cultivation, golden mushrooms vigorously evolve after 30 days or so.

According to know, a mushroom-stick production base introduced by Science and Technology Bureau of Jinfeng District, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of China will be constructed. It is understood that the base that covers over 6000 square meters will be completely built in the end of this year, in addition to producing mushroom sticks, it will also absorb technical staffs and experts for guidance of mushroom deep-processing, which facilitates the formation of mushroom industry chain and bringing about revenues for local masses.

Recently, in Straw mushroom base of Taici Town, Wangjiang County, Anhui Province of China, cultivators are engaged with the drying and processing work of Straw mushrooms.

“The base was transformed from waste tile plant, now it integrates cultivation, technical training, poverty-alleviation post and solar photovoltaic into one,”according to local deputy party secretary, adding that the base holds the annual production value of over 5 million CNY while 3000 CNY of annual profits could be obtained for 207 poor families.

The present season in Linzhi City of Tibet attracts tens of thousands of customers for wild mushrooms such as Morel and Matsutake. In addition, the constant development and improvement of under-forest source industry has also helped local masses broaden a prosperous road.

Since 2016, 29 villages totaling 2500 households in Bomi County, Linzhi City of China engaged in Gastrodia industry, in form of collective village economy, per capita income totaled 2115 CNY while over 200 farmers were supported to grow rich. In 2017, there are 45 farmers and herdsmen putting efforts to Morel cultivation in 4 villages and towns of Bomi County, the anticipated Morel output adds up to 3750 kg while output value comes to 450,000 CNY.

At present, Black fungus cultivation is divided into two types which refer to hanging-bag and field cultivation in Raohe County, the former indicates easy management, superior quality and convenient picking, field-cultivation requires less input and 10,000 bags could be cultivated in each mu of land, after deducting costs, profits in each mu could reach 20,000 CNY. Besides, Black fungus cultivation needs abundant labor forces, hence surrounding villagers are able to get jobs in the base. 

For years, Raohe County has been grasping Black fungus cultivation as the flourishing project which effectively promotes the revenues for farmers. In 2017, cultivation capacity of Black fungus added up to 7 million bags in Raohe County, the anticipated output on dried Black fungus could reach 350,000kg while production value comes to at least 21 million CNY.
