From October 5 to 7, 2017, the 69th anniversary of the Federation of German Mushrooms and Cultivated Mushrooms (BDC e.V.) takes place in Darmstadt. On 10th of September, Guangxi Beibuwan Modern Agricultural Co., LTD was put into trial production.
According to know, Beibuwan Company is an international automation-leading enterprise which highlights mushroom production and processing, the company holds 110 million CNY of investment and occupies over 600 mu of area, of which organic mushroom demonstration garden of circular economy covers 300 mu.
In the garden, 56 mushroom greenhouses are orderly arranged, 2 automatic production lines and aseptic workshop are equipped and built. In addition, production and refrigeration house that cover 56,000 square meters have also been constructed, which implies high-standard modernized production equipment.
It is understood that 56 mushroom greenhouses are actually an industrial poverty alleviation project built with 20.50 million CNY of public welfare funds and over 400 poor households could be absorbed here for mushroom production.
“Fruiting period is generally kept for 50 days, 7 batches of mushroom could be obtained per year, what’s more, 36,000 mushroom sticks in each greenhouse could produce above 12,600 kg of mushrooms per batch, and in total, 88,200 kg could be produced per year,” introduces vice manager of Beibuwan Company, adding that after deducting costs on sticks and utilities, annual incomes normally come to 20,000 CNY per household.

According to quotation provided by Vegetable & Agricultural Products Wholesale Market in Fuxin City, Liaoning Province of China, by September 12th, Enoki mushroom, Seafood mushroom, Pholiota nameko and Shiitake are 4 varieties that show price fall.

1. The price of Enoki mushroom has been dropped from 7 to 6 CNY per kg, showing 14.3% of dropping range.
2. The price of Seafood mushroom has been dropped from 14 to 10 CNY per kg, showing 28.6% of dropping range. 
3. The price of Pholiota nameko has been dropped from 14 to 8 CNY per kg, indicating 42.9% of dropping range.
4. The price of Shiitake has been dropped from 10 to 6.6 CNY per kg, indicating 34% of dropping range. 

On the contrary, by September 12th, Oyster mushroom, Button mushroom, King oyster mushroom, Agrocybe cylindracea and Pleurotus geesteranus are 5 varieties that show price rise.
1. The price of Oyster mushroom has been risen from 7 to 8 CNY per kg, indicating 14.3% of increase range.
2. The price of Button mushroom has been risen from 6.4 to 9 CNY per kg, indicating 40.6% of increase range.
3. The price of King oyster mushroom has been risen from 5.6 to 8 CNY per kg, indicating 42.9% of increase range.
4. The price of Agrocybe cylindracea has been risen from 10 to 14 CNY per kg, indicating 40% of increase range.
5. The price of Pleurotus geesteranus has been risen from 12 to 13 CNY per kg, indicating 8.3% of increase range.

Recently, as a result of large fruiting amount and slow marketing steps, the price of Shiitake has been slightly lowered, but along with the arrival of peak consuming season, its price is expected to recover soon.

Morel is a kind of high value-added agricultural product which not only holds short cultivation period, but also shows easy cultivation technology. The climatic and geographic conditions in Yichang City, Hubei Province of China are suitable for Morel cultivation. In 2015, trial Morel cultivation got succeeded in Yichang City, Yichang Kunbo Biotechnology Co., LTD aimed at cultivation potentials of Morel and started to vigorously promote Morel industry with local farmers. 

This year, Morels cultivated in 52 mu of land have been ushering bumper harvest, according to know, average mu output on fresh Morel comes to 180 kg while the uppermost mu output totals 300 kg, the market price on fresh and dried Morel is respectively at 140 CNY and 1600 CNY per kg, after deducting costs, average mu incomes exceed ten thousand CNY, which indicates rosy revenues. According to statistics, in first half of this year, cultivation scale of Morel came to over 1000 mu while average mu revenues reached 12,000 CNY in Yichang City.

Huangtu Village, Shanxi Province of China is a typical case, through Shiitake cultivation conducted on apple branches, annual incomes per capita come to 50,000 CNY.

In the first half of this year, amount of material-input totaled 153,000 tons, output on fresh mushroom came to 159,000 tons while production value obtained 1.51 billion CNY in Binzhou City, Shandong Province of China, respective year-over-year increase refers to 2%, 2.2%, 2.3%, which indicates stable and favorable development tendency.

Since this year, production project of rare mushroom introduced from Changli County, Hebei Province of China has been put into production. According to know, the project holds 1.2 billion CNY of gross investment, it sets production, industrial tourism and science popularization education into one, the present annual mushroom output comes to 14,600 tons, annual sales income adds up to 250 million CNY while 300 posts could be provided.

Not long ago, an outdoors-woman found a Golden Bamboo fungus while she was foraging for wild mushrooms in mountain fields of Gaolong Village, Hunan Province of China, the fungus was identified as Dictyophora indusiata by related mavens. According to know, Dictyophora indusiata are known as “Fairy of Snow Skirt” and “Mushroom Queen”, this kind of fungi are mainly produced in Yunnan Province of China.

“Dictyophora indusiata are featured as white color, golden Bamboo fungi are rather rare, especially for those that grow in non-production area,” said one of mushroom mavens, going on that Dictyophora indusiata refer to highest-grade variety and they were tributes of royal court in Chinese markets.
