Recently, industrialized production of Morel strain obtained its success in Ganzi State, Sichuan Province of China, by the end of this year, the expected output on Morel strain reaches 1.5 million bottles.

In order to accelerate the development of mushroom industry, in 2015, Sichuan Jinkangyuan Agricultural Technology Co., LTD was introduced to the state, after two years, the first strain field of Morel which holds annual output of 3 million bottles of strain was established.

“Building our own strain field highlights cost reduction and guarantee of transportation quality safety. This year, the unit price of Morel strain is at 5.5 CNY per bottle, 250 CNY of input has been eliminated in each mu of land while 750,000 CNY of costs could be saved in 3000 mu of land,” introduces related principal in passion.

During China’s 13th Five-Year Plan, Ganzi State intends to vigorously push Morel industry and develop Morel base that covers 35,000 mu of land. By the end of 2017, total area for Morel cultivation is going to obtain 12,000 mu, which effectively drives masses to end poverty and increase earnings.

Over the years, Guxiang Mushroom Cooperative of Songyuan City, Jilin Province of China has been enhancing mushroom production to increase the fortunes of masses.

In Guxiang Mushroom Cooperative, specialized production line of King oyster mushroom is in three construction phases. Up to now, Phase One which holds the gross investment of 15 million CNY, annual output capacity of 900 tons of fresh King oyster mushroom and 100 tons of deep-processed products has been completed.

And Phase Two which owns 15 million CNY of investment, annual output capacity of 3500 tons of fresh King oyster mushroom and 400 tons of deep-processed products is in fierce construction.

Phase Three will be launched in 2018 with the planned investment of 20 million CNY, after the construction, annual output on fresh King oyster mushroom is expected to obtain 7000 tons while 700 tons of deep-processed products could be produced.

“In rural villages within Songyuan City, almost every family owns courtyards or small gardens. King oyster mushroom industry extremely fits for development of garden economy and profits on each mushroom greenhouse could generally reach 5000 CNY or so,” introduces principal of the cooperative, continuing that in cold greenhouses, 2 flushes of Shiitake could be cultivated per year, which indicates 10,000 CNY of incomes, and in case of warm greenhouse, 4-5 flushes could be realized and incomes go up to 20,000 CNY.

According to know, Datong Village of Huaxi District combines itself with local climatic conditions and ecological environment, vigorously strengthens the cultivation of organic and nutritious Monkey head mushroom. Since 2015, cultivation of Abalone mushroom, Oyster mushroom, Monkey head mushroom and others has been successfully carried out under forest, gross volume reaches over 11,100 sacks.

“Straws, corncobs and other agricultural wastes are regarded as raw materials of mushroom sack in Datong Village, waste sacks could also be reused as bio-fertilizers, which greatly eliminates air pollution caused by straw burning in the field,” introduces principal from one of local mushroom bases in the village, adding that now, the base owns 20,000 sticks of Monkey head mushroom, by the end of this year, gross output is expected to obtain 15,000 kg or so while output value could reach nearly 1 million CNY.

Recently, The 13th National Mushroom Supplies Expo & Mushroom Factory Development Meeting co-sponsored by China Township Enterprise Association of Mushroom Branch and China Edible Mushroom Business Net was successfully held on 16th-18th, October of 2017 in International Convention Centre of Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province of China. According to know, in forms of Exhibition+Conference, 300 mushroom enterprises showed up on the meeting with over 1000 new products and technology, products involve mushroom supplies, raw and auxiliary materials, production equipment, fresh, dried and deep-processed products.

Over the years, Yancheng City has been actively introducing leading mushroom enterprises, promoting new varieties, technology and equipment, which boosts the constant improvement of large-scale, industrialized and intelligent level of mushroom industry, realizes the transformation from scattered production to communist production.

Up to now, a series of cyclic utilization modes such as “Agricultural wastes - Mushroom - Organic fertilizer - Agricultural crops” and “Agricultural wastes - Mushroom - Fodder - Cultivation - Marsh gas - Agricultural crops” have been widely exploited and applied, mushrooms cultivated in Yancheng City mainly include Oyster mushroom, Shiitake, King oyster mushroom and others. In 2016, cultivation area of mushroom of the city reached 38,000 mu, gross mushroom output achieved 322,000 tons and gross output value obtained 2.51 billion CNY.

From october 5 to 7, the 69th anniversary of the Federation of German Mushrooms and Cultivated Mushrooms (BDC e.V.) took place in Darmstadt.
