Superior Shiitakes have been exported to Japan, Korea and other international markets, annual exchange earnings come to over 100 million CNY. Shiitake cultivation has veritably become the new path for mountainous people to end poverty and grow rich.
At present, it is the picking time of Bamboo fungus in base of Hangcun Village, Jiangxi Province of China, cultivators are immersed with joyfulness. According to know, the village holds 190 mu of Bamboo fungus area, 12 poor households join in mushroom cooperative, which brings about annual average incomes of over 8000 CNY per household.
Mushroom industry coverage has been realized
Since this year, under the propulsion of industrial poverty alleviation policy, mushroom industry has been quickly developed in Shangzhou District, Shanxi Province of China. Now, Shiitake, Oyster mushroom, Black fungus, King oyster mushroom and other mushrooms are being cultivated in an area of 2456.3 mu, besides, 2459 mushroom greenhouses have been established, 75 mushroom cooperatives, 7 mushroom companies, 66 industrialized and specialized mushroom bases have been successively registered and built in the district.
For years, Guannan County, Jiangsu Province of China has been grasping mushroom industry as the leading industry that booms masses, now, the county holds over 50 mushroom enterprises, of which provincial leading enterprises account for 6, city-level leading enterprises occupy 18 and main varieties include King oyster mushroom, Button mushroom, Enoki mushroom and others. In first half of this year, gross output on fresh mushroom obtained 294,000 tons while output value exceeded 2.65 billion CNY in Guannan County.
“Our annual sales volume comes to over 200 million CNY and average daily output on fresh mushroom obtains 40 tons, besides, mushrooms are always in short supply in virtue of superior quality and graceful appearance,” introduces the principal of Lisha Mushroom CO., LTD, one of dozens of outstanding mushroom enterprises in Guannan County.
For recent days, Mr. Feng, one of villagers in Gaofeng Village, Sichuan Province of China has been merrily engaged with picking and drying work of Black fungus.
“After removing Black fungus stick into bamboo forest, rotting rate is at 1% or so while costs on each stick have been reduced to 1.2 CNY,” said Mr. Feng passionately, continuing that 50,000 Black fungus sticks which are made of sawdust, corn powder, wheat bran and others raw materials are virtually home-made. 3-5 flushes of Black fungus could be harvested from each stick, annual sales revenues could reach over 400,000 CNY and net profits total at least 200,000 CNY.
Fresh mushrooms are coming into season
Recently, in mushroom base of Lvtong Company, workers have been busy picking and airing Pleurotus citrinopileatus.
“We daily produce at least 75 kg of fresh mushrooms, after appearing on market with the price of 20 CNY per kg, they are quite favored by customers for attractive appearance and tasty flavor,” said principal of the company, adding that they regard wood branches and corncobs as the raw materials for Pleurotus citrinopileatus cultivation, after a series of links such as sterile disposal, inoculation and cultivation, golden mushrooms vigorously evolve after 30 days or so.
According to know, a mushroom-stick production base introduced by Science and Technology Bureau of Jinfeng District, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of China will be constructed. It is understood that the base that covers over 6000 square meters will be completely built in the end of this year, in addition to producing mushroom sticks, it will also absorb technical staffs and experts for guidance of mushroom deep-processing, which facilitates the formation of mushroom industry chain and bringing about revenues for local masses.
Recently, in Straw mushroom base of Taici Town, Wangjiang County, Anhui Province of China, cultivators are engaged with the drying and processing work of Straw mushrooms.
“The base was transformed from waste tile plant, now it integrates cultivation, technical training, poverty-alleviation post and solar photovoltaic into one,”according to local deputy party secretary, adding that the base holds the annual production value of over 5 million CNY while 3000 CNY of annual profits could be obtained for 207 poor families.
