Recently, Shiitakes cultivated in Guanglong Mushroom Base of Fengchunling Village, Yuanyang County, Yunnan Province of China are successively coming into season.

Sudden drop of air temperature and large temperature difference between day and night greatly fit for growth of Shiitake. Since this year, Fengchunling Village has been taking construction of mushroom base as the core and vigorously speeding up mushroom industry.

After the conclusion of The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, farmers living in Hewai Village, Tieling City, Liaoning Province of China have successively raising over 2 million CNY on establishment of Lvkuan Mushroom Cooperative with the help and support of local government and town parties, now, the cooperative covers over 50 mu of land and absorbs 50 members, within it, Phase One Project that refers to 30 mushroom greenhouses have been built.

“After a few days, we begin to launch the cultivation, the anticipated fruiting time is in the middle of February, the expected gross output obtains 400,000 kg and output value reaches over 3 million CNY,” introduces one of cooperative members.

Over the years, Guanghan City, Sichuan Province of China has been fully excavating the comprehensive utilization value of straws, a series of aspects such as field-returning of straws, grass and forage processing, biomass fuel have already taken shape.

According to know, Mr. Yi, principal of mushroom cooperative in Xinglong Town, Gualin Village, contracted nearly 10 mu of land two years ago and launched into mushroom cultivation via waste straws.

“Shimeji mushroom is the characteristic in the cooperative, its raw ingredients include wheat straws, rice straws and cotton seeds. In general, at least 1500 kg of mushroom could be produced via 1 ton of straws while output value reaches 3000-5000 CNY per ton. After the harvest, mushrooms could not only be sold to local markets, but also are processed into salted mushrooms,” introduces Mr. Yi excitedly, continuing that the cooperative provides 30-40 posts for local villagers, daily per capita income totals 150 CNY per and annual consumption on straw obtains hundred of tons.

After the graduation in 2015, Mr. Wu returned to his hometown and embarked on Shiitake cultivation in Ziran Village, Fugu County, Shanxi Province of China, now, he is gradually transforming from cave mode to large-scale cultivation, under his leadership, more and more villagers have been driven to join in Shiitake cultivation.

“Through repeated investigation, i decided to launch Shiitake cultivation, and in view of waste caves which hold the characteristic of warm in winter and cool in summer, i settled the cultivation site,” introduces Mr. Wu passionately, say that along with the development of cave-mode Shiitake cultivation, he became aware that small storage content in caves goes against with large-scale cultivation, then he started to raise fund and build mushroom greenhouses, which facilitates expanding the scale as well as enhancing convenient management.

Since last year, Mr. Wu has been successively raising 2.8 million CNY on establishment of 12 fruiting greenhouses and 3 cultivation greenhouses which cover 26 mu of land in total. Now, 200,000 mushroom bags could be stored into the greenhouses, fruiting amount obtains 300,000 kg and annual sales volume attains over 3 million CNY.

Recently, mushroom project of Jiangsu Lvxian Biotechnology Garden was formally put into construction in Haizhou Village, Tuojiang Town, Hunan Province of China.

According to know, the project holds the gross investment of 50 million CNY, in March, it will be put into production after the completion, at that time, the anticipated annual output on Oyster mushroom, Bamboo fungus, Pleurotus geesteranus, Pleurotus cornucopiae and other mushrooms could reach 3 million bags, annual output value obtains 20 million CNY while nearly 300 people could be leaded to embark on mushroom industry and earn considerable incomes.
