On January 10, Bear’s paw mushrooms (虎掌菇) cultivated in Jimsar County, Sinkiang of China are in satisfactory growth tendency.

As the rare mushroom variety, Bear’s paw mushroom carries tender and crisp texture, contains amino acid, polysaccharide, crude fiber and other essential elements which are necessary to human bodies. In Sinkiang, cultivation technology of Bear’s paw mushroom was introduced from Fujian Province of China, now, its whole growth period is at 75 days or so and fruiting period only takes up 7-10 days. Unbelievably, Bear’s paw mushroom holds low demand to temperature and it could be cultivated within minus 30 degrees.
