In 2017, relied on favorable ecological condition and suitable climate, armed with the guidance of “Ecological Poverty Alleviation, Green Development,” Jianhe County, Guizhou Province of China embarked on the battle of poverty removal and building up the foundation of mushroom industry.

By now, 2 leading mushroom enterprises have been successively introduced to the county. At present, a mushroom garden which occupies 240 mu of area and annually outputs 120 million bags of Shiitake mushroom, Pleurotus geesteranus and Big Clitocybe is in planned construction.

After a year of unremitting effort, mushroom industry goes from strength to strength in Jianhe County. In the first half of 2018, gross output on Stropharia rugosoannulata and Morel mushroom came to 1500 tons and 50 tons in respective in Jianhe County. By 2018, gross area for mushroom farming reached over 4500 mu, gross mushroom output and output value respectively hit 12,500 tons and 210 million CNY within Jianhe County while at least 20,000 population were leaded to increase stable incomes through mushroom industry.
