Anticipated output value of mushroom attains nearly 1 million CNY by the end of 2017

For recent years, Huaxi District, Guizhou Province of China has been fiercely promoting under-forest mushroom industry as another pillar industry that goes after tea industry.

According to know, Datong Village of Huaxi District combines itself with local climatic conditions and ecological environment, vigorously strengthens the cultivation of organic and nutritious Monkey head mushroom. Since 2015, cultivation of Abalone mushroom, Oyster mushroom, Monkey head mushroom and others has been successfully carried out under forest, gross volume reaches over 11,100 sacks.

“Straws, corncobs and other agricultural wastes are regarded as raw materials of mushroom sack in Datong Village, waste sacks could also be reused as bio-fertilizers, which greatly eliminates air pollution caused by straw burning in the field,” introduces principal from one of local mushroom bases in the village, adding that now, the base owns 20,000 sticks of Monkey head mushroom, by the end of this year, gross output is expected to obtain 15,000 kg or so while output value could reach nearly 1 million CNY.
