ChampFood International is headquartered in Vierlingsbeek, The Netherlands. They produce natural and organic supplement for growing mushrooms.

The company is established in 1991 and has since served the mushroom industry as a manufacturer, supplier and distributor of ChampFood. By permanently applying the latest technology in the area of absorption-requirements of mushrooms, oysters and shii-takes, ChampFood has become an industry-leading product. They have a 40 to 45% market share worldwide and deliver their product to 6 continents, over more than 60 countries.

Founder of ChampFood Jan Baltussen has built a strong team over the years and recently decided together with his partner Eric Vernooij to add a new member to the ChampFood family. Mathieu Geurts will be responsible for sales, customer support, service and consultation. Main focus of Mathieu will be on organizational consolidation and continuation. This will give Jan the chance to invest more time in product development & innovation as well as service expansion, this is also where his roots are and where it all began. Mathieu has worked for more than 8 years within the mushroom industry and has a broad experience in export, customer service and marketing. Full of ideas, young and talented are some personal key words to describe him.

As mentioned, service expansion is one of the pillars of Jan and he has invested in extra consultancy to bring even more additional service to their customers. Near infrared spectroscopy is also an important part of the service portfolio and has a strong competitive edge in technology. Consultation and guidance towards our customer, to reach the best yield by developing and delivering the best mushroom supplements, are and will be the key.
